Welcome to Class.
You have enrolled in American Federal Government 1113 Internet course. It is necessary for you to register online for this class. Follow the instructions for registering online when you click on Student Registration in the menu on the left. When registering, be sure to register with the e-mail address you open and use. If you use your student e-mail address, make sure to put the word "student" in it.
After you have registered, I will use that e-mail address to register you with www.turnitin.com, where you will submit your assignments.
As an Internet course it will be necessary for you to be self-motivated. The absence of scheduled classes can be an advantage, but can also pose a pitfall if students have not had previous experience with self-motivated instruction. It is important for you to understand that internet courses are largely self-paced. However, there will be deadlines throughout the semester. Each student will be required to meet these deadlines. It will be essential for you, the student, to follow the class schedule.
Quizzes, Exams, and assignments are listed in the "Syllabus" section. Due dates for assignments, quizzes and Exams can be found on the Sessions calendar.
Again, welcome to American Federal Government. The Textbook, We The People, Fifth Edition, by Thomas E. Patterson, and related internet sites, will be used.
